Backup & Restore Settings

The Backup & Restore feature in ANSVIS allows you to safeguard and recover your system configuration with ease. It ensures that your server settings can always be restored or migrated when needed.

This feature can be accessed from Setting > Restore Setting page

Key Features​

Create Restore Point​

Press Create Restore Point to save the current server configuration as a restore point in the list. This allows you to roll back to a previous state if required.

ANSVIS automatically creates a restore point whenever the server is restarted, ensuring that the latest configuration is always preserved.

Export Restore Point​

Press Export selected setting to file to export any restore point from the list into a file. The file can then be imported and applied on another ANSVIS server, simplifying migration or replication.

Restore Server​

There are two methods to restore a server from a restore point

  1. Restore from list of settings: You can select a restore point from the list and then press Restore button to apply it
  2. Restore from a file: You can load a retore point from a file and then press Restore button to apply it
